I have never met a more stubborn man than Danny. Trying to speak to him was sometimes like speaking to a brick wall. Or a deaf mule.
I thought I had gotten through to him on some points, but...verdammt. He just refused to acknowledge the fact that we care. But he does know. I feel in my heart that he truly does.
It seemed as if the harder I pushed, the closer I got to the truth about him, the more distant he became. With any luck, this push was enough to change his mind. Unfortunately, I am not 100% confident that it was.
He said to tell everyone he's sorry. Not as sorry as we are, my friend.
