Exhausted...physically and mentally.
Aug. 25th, 2003 12:55 amOne reason I am tired beyond its standard definition is because Rosie and I spent the night together. I won't bother with the details. Just knowing that I can barely walk right now is detail enough. She was very eager. Very eager. And the circumstances were perfectly unavoidable. *smirks*
The number went so much better than I could have imagined. All I remember is the rush of adrenaline through my veins, the feel of the hot spotlight on my face. And the crowd loved it. I was so worried about the response...but it worked. Rosie and Helga were the absolute best.
And now onto the matter of a newcomer to the Klub, who is responsible for my mental exhaustion. The Emcee mentioned him before he left for yet another business affair. His name is Danny. Far be it from me to actually feel...jealous... I loathe to admit it, but I did. Just a twinge. It was his manner toward Helga that first irritated me. And then he made some pathetic attempt at humor at her expense, and God help me, if I were a lesser man I would have resorted to some form of violence. Fortunately, he backed off immediately. To placate me, he even offered me what I believe to be black market deals. *shakes his head* ...Americans. Helga seemed to like him, as did some of the other women, save Rosie and Ophilia, and Frenchie for a while at least.
*shrugs* Well, I won't be seeing the last of him any time soon so I might as well make the best of it.
